Who We Are
Our mission is to harness the therapeutic power of music to uplift and heal individuals facing health challenges.
We are Notes of Comfort, a local New Haven nonprofit that brings live musical performances to create a symphony of support in various communities, especially patients in hospitals and healthcare facilities. We started out of Yale University in 2021, and our members have since performed at various venues including the Parents’ Foundation Transitional Living Center, Bridgeport Correctional Center, Yale New Haven Hospital, and the Connecticut Hospice.
Our commitment is to inspire hope, enhance well-being, and make a meaningful impact on the healing journey, proving that the transformative notes of music can be a source of comfort for all.
